Required Documents

We Need to Verify Your Documents!

Why Do We Perform These Checks?

As a DVLA-registered number plate supplier, we are legally required to verify your entitlement to the registration you are requesting. These checks help prevent vehicle cloning and related crimes.

For more details, please refer to the official government documents INF136 and INF195/2.

This page allows you to securely provide two document reference numbers—one to confirm your name and address, and another to prove your entitlement to the registration.

These reference numbers must be traceable to you as the customer and may be accessed by the police, DVLA, or DVSA at any time without prior notice. By law, we must collect this information before manufacturing your plates.

The following documents can be used to confirm your entitlement to the registration:

Vehicle Registration Certificate (V5C)
New Keeper Slip (Green Slip)
Certificate of Entitlement (V750)
Retention Document (V778)
Renewal Reminder for Vehicle Tax or SORN (V11)
Temporary Registration Certificate (V379)
Number Plate Authorisation Certificate (V948) (with an official DVLA stamp)
Electronic Number Plate Authorisation Certificate (eV948)
Electronic Trailer Number Plate Authorisation Certificate (eV948/2)
UK Trailer Registration Certificate (VTRC)
