At Plate Guy, we conduct document checks to ensure that all number plates are issued in compliance with DVLA regulations. This process helps maintain road safety and legality while protecting both our customers and our business.

To order your number plates, you will need to provide:

• Proof of identity (such as a driving licence or passport)
• Proof of entitlement to the registration (such as your V5C logbook or a retention document)

You can submit your documents by emailing them to us at docs@plateguy.co.uk or uploading them directly through our website during the ordering process. Please ensure that all documents are clear and legible.

When submitting your documents, please include the following reference numbers:

• Your vehicle registration number
• The document reference number from your V5C logbook (if applicable)

If you are waiting for documents for a new personalised registration, please contact us to discuss your options. We can guide you on how to proceed while your documents are being processed.

If you’re purchasing plates as a gift, you will still need to provide the necessary documents for the recipient. Please ensure you have their permission to submit their details, and we can assist you in completing the order.
